Our research is focused on understanding the role of repetitive DNAs in the shape and evolution of insect genomes. We integrate a myriad of research areas, such chromosomal biology, comparative genomics, epigenetics, population biology and phylogenetics.

The lab is hosted in the Department of General and Applied Biology at UNESP (São Paulo State University) on the Campus of Rio Claro, São Paulo, Brazil.
